I’m trying to encourage the girls to contribute more here – but isn’t it great that they need to be encouraged to connect to home as opposed to clinging deperately to it?! Anyway, I was hoping to have them respond to some questions from those of you reading the blog. Can you and your families please write some questions for the girls here in the comments section? I’ll ask them to respond in the next week or so. Thanks!

Hi girls! This is what we want to know:
1) What kind of food do you eat at school- is all Mexican or do they have variety? do you like the food? Do you eat in the same cafeteria as eachother? Do you see eachother in the halls much? 2) Are your classmates interested in where you come from? Do they all want to speak English to you or do they like it that you are learning their language? 3) What do you like best about your new house? Have you been to any of your friends’ homes yet? What are they like?
3)do you think Gully likes his new house? Do you think he is learning spanish words too, like “food” and “water”? 4) Have you found a favorite park or playground yet? favorite ice cream stand or other place for a special treat?
