On any given day at almost any given market here, there is lots of yummy looking food to sample.  Today I learned that when the man offers you a sample, and you like the sample, you shouldn’t immediately say “Hey, that’s great – I’ll take a some more to go please!” or “Bueno comida.  Yo quiero mas para llevar, por favor.” 

Instead, you should wait about 5 minutes and make sure that super-strong raging Mexican time-release spices don’t burn straight through your boca grande (big mouth).
